I'm Darlene, the maker behind Nook Décor.

My love affair with vintage furniture started over 20 years ago. I'd walk past a worn armchair or a dusty old dresser at a flea market and see exactly what it could become not what it was, but what it was waiting to be. That instinct turned into a craft, and that craft turned into Nook Décor.

There's something special about furniture with history. The kind with solid wood frames, hand-carved details, and proportions you just don't find anymore. Over the past two decades, I've made it my work to find these forgotten pieces and give them a second life stripping back tired fabric, repairing what's worn, and reupholstering each one into something fresh, modern, and ready for a new home.

Along the way, I noticed something; not every piece needs a full makeover. Sometimes the bones are already great and it's just the cushions that have gone flat, faded, or worn thin. So I started offering replacement cushions too, bringing the same care, eye for detail, and upholstery skills to furniture you already love.
